So, I’m Having some kind of feud with my mom.

I’ve been in my room since yesterday after noon doing nothing. And not eating either.

The reason I have been doing this is because she doesn’t let me do things that I want to do with my life.

Today, I was suppose to go to a rehearsal for a theatre Festival. And i really needed to be there because my group has not once had a rehearsal with everyone there.

I asked her if we were doing anything at all today. She said no, So i asked her if i can go to rehearsal today. She said no. I asked for an actual reason. She said because it was a school thing and it should be taken care of during school days.

The thing is I have. But I have rehearsals for the school play, then my group gets together and rehearses for our scene. I don’t get home till 7 hungry and tired, still to do all my work. 

I told her that all my friends parents understand that they have to rehearse and that those rehearsals happen during the weekend as well. I just want her to understand that because I do think it’s pretty unfair.

If i want to act for a living, she needs to understand that I have to participate in things like festivals and plays to be able to do what i want. You never know who’s in the audience.
